I can't see it happening. Someone would have to replace the drive with a CD/DVD writer and then somehow get software on the 360 that would allow for burning of CD/DVD's.

Has anyone done this on the Xbox yet as a mod? If not, it'll be awhile if it happens on the 360.

Why though? It'd be infinitely cheaper and easier to just go to a computer.

Not that I know of. IMO the problem is installing CD/DVD burning software onto the console.

With the ability to install Linux on a Xbox I'd think the software install would be easy.

I wasn't going to get into all that, but yeah, installing Linux would make it easier. Of course that's just another headache. Personally, I'm all for using my laptop/PC to burn CD/DVD's.
