    Coachella '07

So I've known about Coachella for a while now, but since it's on the opposite coast, and since I've rarely had any enough money to make that trip, I haven't gone. But now I've got some dough, and if I can find some time in my schedule (I usually work 65-70 hours a week), I think this is the year I have to go. Look at the band list from last year: http://www.coachella.com/artists/

Um, if this year's looks anything like that, I'm already going to start packing. Anybody here ever been to Coachella before? I been to a big music festival before, but not one with this many artists/bands I want to see. Just curious if anybody has been before, or anybody else is planning on going this year?

I've always planned on going.. but this time I'm going to actually go through with it. I blame friends who flake out. From others though that have been, they have nothing but good things to say about the expirience.

It's a little weak compared to recent years, but there are still a handful of good bands playing each day, it would be worth the trip if I lived nearby.

If the Bonnaroo leaked lineup is true, I would much rather go there: Bob Dylan, The Police, Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, TV on the Radio, Cat Power....

I would pay to see ONE of those bands live: RHCP. That's it...

I would say that would be worth it just to see Rage.

Haha, I repsect everybody's musical taste and all but to assert that this lineup is "weak" is really disrespectful to the music genre in general. Seriously. This event is showcasing some of the best artists out there today. And I love how there's some hip-hop artists mixed in.

It is still a heck of a lineup, but I'd take last year's performers over this years.

That could be true. Guess I just didn't like the word weak. Haha.

                    Coachella is my dream.

Bands I would pay to see on their own, and I've only heard of like half those bands: Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, The Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, The New Pornographers, Sparklehorse, The Roots, Kaiser Chefs, Damien Rice.

oh man what a ridiculous lineup. I might have to waste the vacation time, pony up the greenbacks and go before I regret it.
