I just ordered the Arrested Development Seasons 1-3 set at Amazon for $54.99. I've never seen the show, but I consider myself to have a great, and very diverse, sense of humor, and it's received good reviews here and elsewhere.

I hope I like the show. It seemed like a good deal, and I gather the format of the show is well suited to DVD, as it's very serialized.

Freaks and Geeks is a good one, especially if you never caught any of the episodes during it's short run on NBC in 99-2000.

I recommend Deadwood but it does have excessive amounts of swearing so consider yourself warned but it is a great show if you are into westerns. I have only seen season 1 but plan on seeing season 2 and 3 in the future.

I have two seasons of 24 and one season of Seinfeld...I need to get more.

Through unscrupulous methods I discovered I'm getting the first season of House on DVD, as well.

I'm thinking of buying the House seasons, but I don't know how many times I'll watch an episode more than maybe twice or three times... no matter how much I love this show. I think I love it more for continually watching the new episodes, and not necessarily repetitively watching the same episodes over and over.

                    Re: TV on DVD?

The only complete series we have right now is Dawson's Creek.

I plan to collect the series of Veronica Mars, Smallville, The Shield, and Supernatural.

One good find is 1st and Ten, it was an HBO show in the 80's and 90's starring none other than Orenthal James Simpson. It is usually pretty cheap, I got it for $15 at Best Buy, and it is worth every penny. That being said, you sort of need to ignore some rather gaping plot holes, but it was the 80's and who knows what actors went into rehab at what time.

I used to watch that show on HBO, I always thought it was pretty good. Didn't know they had it on DVD now, might have to rent it for old times.

Yeah I found it in a bargain bin at Best Buy and took a gamble. Surprisingly my wife loved the show too, it was a great deal. We still need to finish season 5 and 6.

That team went through more QBs than Brian Billick could even imagine.

I picked up "Entourage: Season 1" for $18 this weekend. My collection has now doubled in size.

Ive got all 10 season's of friends on DVD along with the first 3 season's on boy meets world. I just got into the OC and picked up season 1 and 2. Ill be getting 3 for xmas im sure.

Even though ive only watched about 3/4th of the 1st season id highly reccomend the OC. This first season has been terrific and has me hooked and wanting to watch it nightly. Going to be a sad day when I completely catch up and run out of new episodes.

Don't worry, you'll soon enough find OC unwatchable, probably by early second season.

I heard the 1st season was phenominal which it has been, then that season 2 is still pretty good, while season 3 was a let down. Now im hearing season 4 has been great again so far. So we'll see....I dont watch many sitcoms at all, but the ones I do watch I almost "adopt" to where I like it no matter what and hardly even see the "bad" when everyone else does...so hopefully that continues for me.
