By the way I started the exact same thread a few weeks ago in the OS neighborhood and asked for it to be moved here. Of course everyone ignored it and nobody responded. Thanks, losers. And it was my favorite show first, so everyone else can just hop on the mike01 Rob and Big bandwagon now I guess.

Re: Rob & Big
Last night was awesome. Dog has a seizure and then by miracle comes back home and knows how to skateboard. Rob was so happy it was really cool. I'm trying to convince my roommates to go get a bulldog with me.Comment

Whats the stuff Big wears? Its the double B thing, I figured maybe it was his own line or something because I've never seen that before. I want that stuff.Comment

Re: Rob & Big
Ya know, I usually refuse to watch anything on MTV anymore as so much of it has been bad over the years, but I caught a few episodes of this late one night and it was actually pretty good.
I saw these 3 episodes - the dog skateboarding, Rob's birthday and Big trying to lose weight.Comment

Re: Rob & Big
Don't get me wrong, I don't not like bulldogs. They are a very needy breed -- english bulldogs, especially. If you don't know what you are getting yourself into, you could be in for a great amount of disappointment and frustration. They are prone to a lot of medical complications which can prove quite costly if they come about. You've got to be very careful what type of breeder you go to -- and I definitely would here, you don't want a rescue that has an unknown amount of baggage -- because if you hit up the wrong backyard breeder, you're screwed. Plus, I would highly suggest that you educate yourself on the breed as much as possible before making such a pricey decision, which I would recommend for any breed, actually. Buy some books, talk to some people who have owned them in the past who have both positive and negative feedback. Don't just jump right into it because they seem like a cool breed.Last edited by BGarrett7; 12-08-2006, 12:12 PM.Comment

Re: Rob & Big
oh yeah me and my bro have done a lot of research and are aware of the risks. Phoenix has a very good track record of amazing breeders and went on forums to find the right guy for our pup. It does suck that they have a very shorty life span (8-10 years).Comment

Re: Rob & Big
The funniest scene in the show was when the cops wanted them to pull over and they kept talking about "riding dirty".Comment

Re: Rob & Big
yeah, that was hilarious...... 'what is he pulling us over for ? Riding Dirty?"
I was cracking up when they bought a matress too. Seeing him jumping on the beds in the store. The salesman looked like he was about to snap...............I love the show. It's like the odd couple. Big is awesome. Like a giant teddy bear.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Rob & Big
Good to know that there are plenty of other people enjoying this show.
I absolutely hate MTV, but I caught this show on when I was really bored and got hooked. I still don't know when new episodes really play, though. I just flip through every now and then and see it on and watch.
Who's the kid that Rob puts down constantly? Is it his brother?
Rob: "He's talking about being broke and he's wearing $350 dollar sneakers."
Big: "He's struggling!"
Haha, good stuff."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
