XBOX 360-PC Monitor
Forgive me if these are stupid questions. I can't afford an HDTV so I was wondering if I bought a nice monitor and VGA cables would it look any different than on an SDTV. I was looking at this monitor http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/ViewS...oductDetail.do

Re: XBOX 360-PC Monitor
I kinda have a similar question. I have a toshiba laptop with VGA input. I was wondering if I bought the cable would I be able to play it on here. And would it look any better than my SDTV. Thanks.I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

That ViewSonic monitor does not accept component cables, you would have to buy the VGA cable for the xbox 360.
Most laptops have VGA output, not VGA input. If somehow you do have a VGA input, the you should be able to hook up the VGA cable as well and it would work.Comment

Re: XBOX 360-PC Monitor
This question has been asked plenty of times here, guys. If you do a little searching on this forum, you'll find lots of opinions on it.
I, personally, game this way. I bought a 19" Samsung Widescreen monitor a few months back, along with the VGA cable. Honestly, I like the image on this better than on my 32" CRT-HDTV. It's much sharper and the colors are brighter and more crisp.Comment
