    Apocolypto

Saw it, very graphically violent throughout. Good cinematography, good acting, real good bad guys, average movie.

This movie doesn't interest me much....It'll probably be a rental.

This movie has been having teaser trailers as far back as when Saw II came out. I wonder if it was really worth that much hype.

It's more his fascination with directing stories of some historical significance.

Most stories of interest in the past seem to have a strong relationship with violence.

I doubt people would want to watch a movie that is only about the Mayan Civilization's rise. Conflict is interesting.

If you knew anything about the Mayan, Aztec or Incan history you would realize that this movie is probably g-rated compared to what went on in these civilizations. While they were extremely advanced they were also very blood thirsty when it came to their religion.

It was a good action flick, but if you want to see a movie about the Mayan civilization, go watch the history channel... the actual civilization shots is very short in this picture. Basically, it's Braveheart but with Mayans.

In no way is this movie Braveheart. At all.

I dug it. Great flick. The bad guys are REALLY bad in this one.

This is an action flick. hardly anything about the mayan civilization itself. braveheart comparison is in relation to the tight camera work, action sequences, gore factor, and not a comparison about storyline, historical accuracy, etc. But i went in thinking it'll be about the civ itself, not about a single main character.
