    Re: iPod questions...

Thanks for the help again but I tried the Ipod and the new Creative in store today.

The Creative leaves the Ipod for dead. DivX/Xvid support out of the box, fm tuner, voice recorder, not locked to one PC like iTunes etc.

Can somebody please help me with a dumb question...

I need to load Itunes on my parents computer. Is there a way that Itunes will find all the songs on their computer instead of having to individually adding each song. I know its gotta be in the menus but I cant find it. Help!

For anyone that might be interested in the Creative Vision:M, I just saw today that Costco has a $40 instant rebate online, bringing the price to $199. That's a bargain.

If you go into ITunes file menu, there is an option to add files from library. If you choose that and then pick the library where the music is, it will do all of them at once.

Don't want to make a new thread, but I have a mp3 player question. Has anyone ever updated the firmware on their mp3 players before? I was gonna do this on my iRiver, but I wanted to make sure it doesn't erase any mp3's on the system.

Thanks for the advice on MediaMonkey. I added that program to my PC last night, and am using it to AutoTag my new MP3's before I add them to my iTunes library.

I still want the iTunes-iPod seamless integration, so I won't be using MediaMonkey to sync up my iPod, but it's a great program for finding the correct tags for any song you have, plus I believe it puts the album covers into the metatag, so there's no need to go hunting for it.

I used to have a H320 before it died on me and I did all kinds of firmware upgrades including Rockbox. Your music will be fine, you won't lose anything...
