Computer Fan Problem

I think it needs to be lubricated, maybe replaced. When it runs it makes a really loud and annoying noise.

My warranty is up on my laptop, so I'm just curious if you guys have any ideas?

Don't know how I missed this.

Does anyone know a good store to get computers fixed? I heard Best Buy will do it. My warranty is up, and I need a new fan/cooling system.

CompUSA, BestBuy, Circuit City all have PC tech departments that will fix it... but be careful, as sometimes they will charge an arm and a leg to do it.

$100 sounds about right. My computer has been running loudly, probably a fan problem as well for over 2 years.
