    Pursuit of Happyness

    Has anyone seen it yet? I'm going to the late viewing of this tonight...so I can't wait.

    Saw it last night. I really enjoyed it. Will Smith was pretty damn good in it.

      Was it the "emotions" movie that we talked about earlier? Every time I see the previews, I just can't wait to see it. It looks like a really good story.

          I saw it last night, and it's honestly one of the best films of the year (up there with The Departed and The Prestige), and was definitely an Oscar-worthy performance from Smith. What a tremendous actor. His kid is pretty good too and seemed very natural, although I'm sure it helped he was with his dad the whole time.

            I have a feeling when I go see this film, I'm going to cry like a little girl. I know it.

                Touching story, but a little on the long side.

                  maybe it was just the previews but this movie looks really corny.

                        It's based on a true story, so blame reality for that one.

                          Just got back from seeing it... and it was a GREAT movie. I'd recommend it to anyone. Definately, one of the best movies I've seen in quite some time.

                            Saw it yesterday and it's a really good movie. Probably shouldn't worry about being a blubbering idiot in public thought. Granted it's got it's moments where the theater get a little....um....dusty, but not too bad.

                            Just a really good story and a great performance by Will Smith.

                            Btw, something interesting about the ending THIS IS NOT A SPOILER.

                            When he and his son are walking down the street talking and they pass a big black guy with a bald head wearing a suit, Smith turns and looks at him like he knows him. Well, that is the ACTUAL Chris Gardner.

                            Nice touch.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::SPOILER:::::::::: ::::::::::::::::

                              One thing I noticed and don't ask me why. But when Chris first starts working at the place as an intern. I think within the first month, he goes to the CEO's house (forgot what company) and the go to a 49ers game. I believe that's when he first started working there, correct? Well, 4 months later he says. "This is September 25th, you know how I remember this day, it's because I only have $22 dollars left in my account"

                              Okay, here is the thing. If he went to a Niners game when he first started, say within the first month and then 4 months into the internship it's September 25th...there is no way. That means the Niners were playing in June or July.

                              LOL yeah I know, a observation...I'm just saying.
