"Doing arithmetic helps distract you from how stupid the plot is." LMAO!

This movie looks like absolute garbage based on all the reviews it is receiving. I'll go see The Astronaut Farmer instead, thats getting a 66% as oposed to this movie getting a 7% currently LOL.

I don't feel like giving a full review of the movie right now, but I will say that it didn't deserve the whipping it took from critics. Decent movie, I thought it was entertaining despite some big plot holes. Maybe a 6/10 or so.

The movie could have easily been rated PG-13 with some minor cuts to the film.

The first 20 and last 20 minutes were solid but the hour in between almost caused me to fall asleep. The director/writers spent a lot of time explaining how the ending makes sense.

The film doesn't live up to how good the trailer is but it isn't as bad as the 8% it recieved at RT.

I saw it a while back, but didn't post about it. Overall, it was a pretty okay movie. Asianflow, the times that I was really bored was when Carrey's character was reading the story and it would show it on screen. It didn't seem like the same movie that I was thinking it was going to be, but it wasn't terrible. A pretty good ending, though.

Oh, one thing that ANNOYED me about this movie, though... and it's not the movie's fault, it's my fault. But anyway, because of the stupid 23 conspiracy, I looked all around every single scene, trying to count the letters in words or the number of whatever to see if they added up to 23. Sometimes they had it, sometimes they didn't. I instantly recognized Ned, though (14 + 5 + 4). Not too shocking.

I guess the annoying part about that though is that not only myself, but parts in the movie had things that were totally stretching that whole 23 conspiracy.
