I'll be goin to the best concert in the midwest, maybe they country this summer, if you like rock anyway. RockFest June 9th Kansas City,Missouri these are the bands: Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Buckcherry, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Drowning Pool The Exies, Black Stone Cherry, Operator, Burden Brothers, and local bands Federation of Horsepower, and Red Line CHemistry! The only band I dont really care for is FoH other then that I would like to see someone top that rock concert this year. Im also goin to the Kotton Mouth Kings/Tech N9ne concert in July.

I'm going to see the Burden Brothers on May 16th in Parma, OH (just south of Cleveland). I'm so damn excited cause I saw them with Breaking Benjamin and got to talk to them afterwards. They're great guys and they put on a damn fun show. And the best part about this is it's like 15 minutes from my parents' house

So far this year I've been to see Edwin McCain, George Thorogood, Joan Jett, Lifehouse, and some local band for Knoxville's Sundown in the City. I'm going to see Rush in June in Charlotte and absolutely cannot wait for that one. I'll also be seeing Morrisey in July.

I've been to two very charged shows thus far, The Decemberists and Arcade Fire. Coming up, Built to Spill and the Hold Steady (free show, no less) are going to be playing close to my area, so those are two strong possibilities.

I just got tickets to see Tool July 4th at Summerfest.

I'm really looking forward to it. Assuming I don't go to see Clutch or Porcupine Tree when they come to the area like I would like to(money and job kinda restrict me), this will be my first concert...plus Tool is one of my top five favorite bands...plus it'll be Fourth of July at Summerfest...should be a great time.

I'm keeping an eye out on any Queens of the Stone Age tour news. I would love to see them. I really want to see the Drive-By Truckers and apparently they play in Richmond, but they play the week I'll be at the beach.

Well I went to Music Fest this weekend...

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: First time I saw them, singer was drunk as hell. It was awful. So I gave them another chance, and the weren't as bad but weren't very good either. Singer just isn't very good live.

Three Six Mafia: They were censored. They played a ton of songs, but they cut em all to around 1 minute long. It was lame.

One Less Reason: Not bad. But not really my thing either

Hawthorne Heights: It's obviously too easy to make fun of them, but they do actually put on a pretty good live show.

Jack's Mannequin: Simply amazing. Watching Andrew McMahon perform is something everyone should witness atleast once. His energy on stage is awesome. They did play one Something Corporate song (Me and the Moon). I really hope Something Corporate comes back and tours.

                      Taking Back Sunday:
It was the 4th time seeing them, still great as usual. A very good energy. The crowd got on my nerves though. Too many drunken rednecks. I ended up getting beer spilled on my back. Adam, during the last song, got up on one of the side rafters and climbed up about 12 feet and hung upside down and sang. It was damn cool.

Saw Thrice last week in Orlando with Norma Jean, great show both bands sounded really good. Thrice put on probably the best show I had been to in a really long time, There encore "To Awake And Avenge The Dead" was worth it alone.

Good to hear a solid review about Norma Jean. I'm supposed to see them in two weeks with Underoath and Maylene and the Sons Of Disaster.

I'll be honest, I had heard of Norma Jean before and knew the style of music they played, but never actually heard there music, but they blew me away I was really surprised.

I just found out The Receiving End of Sirens, Saosin and Poison the Well are playing July 9th (day before my birthday) in Nashville.

                              I'm absolutely there.

Hey Eli, how does Andrew look? Didn't he have cancer?

Something Corporate is one of those bands that were not supposed to ever breakup. So many memories growing up listening to their music.
