Creating .gif avatars (having trouble converting to .gif from .psd)

So I'm beginning to learn how to create .gif avatars for the first time using Adobe ImageReady 3.0, and I finished. Basically what I did was I used that Burger King shooting Ronald McDonald avatar:

But I changed it to 100 x 100. If it took about a half hour, hopefully next time I can find a much quicker way to do this. Anyway, when I choose to Save, the only file that I can save it as is .psd. Is there some other way for me to do this? I have no idea how to convert this otherwise. I went to Properties, tried to Save As, etc. I don't know if I was actually supposed to use ImageReady or not, but I can't find a way to convert this to .gif on there.

Any way that this is possible? Thanks.

you have to go to "save optimized as"

btw it took me like 10sec to change that gif you put up to 100 and save as.

i just opened the pic, went to image>>image size>>changed to 100x62 went to save optimized as and i was done

Haha... WOW! I can't believe that I didn't even see that. Look how hard this guy looks, right?

      Anyway, here's the end-result:
