    Oceans 13

Well here you go... I loved the last one... unlike most, so I'm still pumped about this one.

I on the other hand, liked the 1st one a lot more than the last one but I guess we'll just have to wait and see on this one.

The first one was OK, didn't see #2 (Ocean's 12). Pacino and Barkin are nice additions-I'm assuming they weren't in the 2nd one??

I thought the first one was genius. The second one... not so much. I'll see this one, either way.

I loved both 11 and 12 and the trailer makes me think I'll love this one too.
Although she did ok in these movies, I've always hated Julia Roberts so I won't miss her in 13.

Al Pacino is a BIG surprise, his performance could determine if the movie is great or just good.

Clooney and Garcia's exchange at the end was pretty funny.

I think 2 was pretty good too. One was the best because I wasn't expecting it. The purpose for 2 seemed to be to sike out the audience into thinking something else. It wasn't too bad. Some might not like it but it was worth the time I gave it.

I'll probably see this at some point ONLY because of Pacino. He may be a scene chewing old windbag these days but that's what I love about him.

Still prefer the original Ocean's Eleven. I do think that the remake is one of the better remakes that I have seen though.

My feelings exactly. I mean a remake is fine but to take it and base a whole new film series on the premise is just silly IMO.

Wow, so Andy Garcia is part of the hit on this one and not being hit up. NICE!

I really really liked the first one, The second one, eh..It was good I guess, but I don't know. I need to see it again. I don't remember much about it or how it even ended.

                            Re: Oceans 13

I loved this movie. It really brought me back to the feel of the first one, but somehow it was still different. Al Pacino was great, as was the rest of the gang. Some parts were just absolutely hilarious. That nice/cool dialogue isn't in the movie like in the first and second one (especially the first one), but there still are those funny "awkward" moments that return from the previous ones. Every character is involved in the heist this time, unlike guys like Bernie Mac and the guy who plays Yen almost not doing anything.

If I were to put in any negatives, one is that Julia Roberts isn't in this movie. I mean, I suppose that's fine and all, but Tess was a very major character in the previous two movies, and it's almost awkward to just see her be completely thrown out of this one. Same with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Why play such a big role in the second one if she wasn't going to be in the third one? All in all, the second movie's cliffhangers didn't quite come through in the third one... but I blame the second movie for that. The other negative would be that, unlike Ocean's Eleven, these last two just weren't as clear-cut and direct. The first one was very easy to follow: Eleven guys steal $160 million. This one definitely made much more sense than the second one, but sometimes you just had to listen very closely to understand exactly what was going on. I hated those moments. Oh, and one other tiny nitpick about the three movies overall, is that you always had a sense that Ocean's gang was on top of whatever potentially seemed like a downfall to their plans. This happened in all three movies, leaving very little suspense for any of the movies, actually. In the end, it doesn't matter. Watch these celebrities have fun on camera... it works!

Definitely worth the watch, though. Again, not at all like the second one. At least Soderberg followed the complaints of virtually everyone with what was wrong with Ocean's Twelve, and did not make that mistake this time. Again, great movie. Can't wait to get it on DVD.

I loved the first two. It's not so much the storyline or the characters, but it was portrayed as Clooney, Pitt, Damon, and Mac just cutting up. I found the performances wonderful. The chemistry is amazing in these films. And picking out all the intentional mistakes makes them worth watching over and over.
