    This line:

When Rocky mutters lines like, "One second they like ya, next second you're a bum," Sly might as well break character and gaze into the camera as he speaks.

... nearly had me choke on my drink. I wasn't expecting to laugh, so it caught me off guard. I could picture it so well that I was laughing for about 5 minutes after.

Love Bill Simmons. Are there spoilers in the review? I'll be seeing it this weekend.

Is it possible to spoil a Rocky movie? Without reading anything about this film, I could probably tell you exactly what's going to happen.

If you are a cynic and want something to ground your opinions of Rocky, the review is spot on. It's a funny review poking fun at the exagerations an unbelievable things Rocky has always represented.

I suppose there were reviews just like this when the other Rocky movies were released. It's Rocky. It's not a Martin Scorsese film. Yes, the film has issues, but overall it properly represents what the idea of Rocky has always been.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

I haven't seen it but I bet Rocky loses at the end; just so it proves he can't come back and then Stallone can do a Rocky 7 LMAO.

My brother saw it in Detroit almost a month ago when Sly was in town for the Bronx fundraiser and a preview. He thought it was the worst of all the Rocky movies and was disappointed.

                Burt Young is only 66.
Having watched Rockies 1-3 multiple times I will probably throughly enjoy this one.

Very good read. LOL @ the end when he gives Stallone an idea for VII.
