10 deadliest toys of all time....

According to the article. My vote goes for the good old fashion bb gun, but because I guess that's technically not a toy, here's the official list.

The 10 most dangerous toys of all time Last month, Target recalled 10 of its Kool Toyz-brand play…

There is no such thing as dangerous toys, only dangerous children.

I had #9 when I was a kid. I actually remember them getting recalled too.

At least you can look at it like this...

those 10 ways are population control. Sadly it's kids that perrish, but none the less it's frees up a social security number IF you're legal.

                Very true.

Granted, I was being sarcastic. Some of those toys are crazy. Toxic food that heats up to 300 degree temperatures? How in the world did anyone ever think that was safe?

I can understand things like the Cabbage Patch Kid or the Twirling/Flying Wing girl thing (whatever it is). But, 300 degree temperatures? Toxic food? That's just absurd.

Toys on that list my parents bought for me:
                  1. Lawn Darts
There were some other toys I'd say were more dangerous than those mentioned, like the Archery set my Dad got me when I was 9 or the BB Gun at 10.

man, I had some lawn darts as a kid. We used to chunk those things as high as we could.

I remember getting BB-guns, wood burning kit, and a .22 rifle for Christmas. My parents taught me to be responsible. They didn't need to worry about me maiming myself or someone else. They didn't raise an idiot.

That's the Key point: They didn't raise an idiot.

Most parents now are to selfish and still care about themselves only.

Now I know why I never got the Creepy Crawlers for Christmas or my birthday...

FYI...Creepy Crawlers were not edible back then. You'd have to have been a blithering idiot to actually try to eat one of those things!!

Another honorable mention and something we had around that was actually pretty handy:

Hey! Check out that "one size fits all" safety goggles!

Maybe it's just me, but even as a toddler I never saw a reason to put something foreign in my mouth.

Why would kids think that putting something like Creepy Crawlers would be safe to eat?

If I were a parent I would purposely not buy this for my kids because there's only one purpose and it's to eat. I wouldn't want my kids eating that crap even if it weren't toxic.
