    Fake IDs: The Legal Way

I read about this in my local paper. Apparently some people did up some "disguises" and went to the DMV to get licenses.

    I don't get it.

I mean, I get what they are doing, but what's the point?

Are they underage? Are they trying to get multiple liscenses as one person? Or are they just seeing if they can get DMV photos of them made when they are done up like characters in a play or musical?

For fun? To see if they could do it I guess.

What you need to get is a sense of humor. There is no point to it, they are just trying to be funny.

I have a great sense of humor, but I generally like humor that makes sense. A backstory also helps.

The skits provide no premise aside from these guys spray painting themselves up and getting their driver's liscense pictures taken. If that alone is their comedic accomplishment, it's pretty weak in my opinion, but I guess teenagers dig it. It's simple, and on a very basic level, funny.

They apparently call themselves the Teenagers of Uranus, so I guess it all fits together nicely.

Oh I agree with you, it is pretty weak.

Re: Fake IDs: The Legal Way

From what I've heard, they aren't trying to get fake IDs. They're just trying to see how far they can take it costume wise before the DMV doesn't let them get their picture taken. If you notice, the name on the ID is always one of two (three maybe?) names.
