Anyone know anything about football card values?

For Christmas, my uncle gave me the 2005 Steeler Team Pack by Score. It's completely unopened in a hard plastic case... still sealed with a sticker that has obviously never been tampered with.

I cant tell how many cards are in it, but it looks like a lot... maybe the whole team. Visible on the front is Ben Roethlisberger and on the back is Heath Miller's rookie card.

My uncle bought a few last season when he went to a Steeler game and said he just never got to opening them. Then, after they won the Super Bowl, he took them out again and decided to give me one for some reason.

I realize that football cards typically dont hold anywhere near the value that baseball cards do, but I'm just curious if this set will be worth anything one day.

    Anyone know anything?

Outside of jersey and basketball floor cards, I really have no idea. There are the obvious ones, like rookie cards of legends, but when I was collecting basketball cards like a madman, I used a Beckett. You could always go by your local card shop and ask them.

football cards are pennies compared to baseball. I sold a single pujols rookie card on ebay for near $85 during his 06 peak.

I have some comparable nfl star cards that aren't even worth the effort to sell. I'm not sure if your cards are worth anything, but don't be shocked if they aren't. I think your cards should, or will, have more sentimental value.

NFL cards don't have the cache of baseball cards and never will. I'm sure it's a hell of a lot more work to find football cards that are comparable with some of the high end baseball ones.

Now...if you ended up with a near complete set of AFL cards from the 60s you may fetch some good money on that.
