    Ok, my wife got me this IPOD thingy for christmas....

    ....but we don't have Windows on our CPU (currently using Freespire)...itunes says i need windows, is there no other way for me to download music from itunes now? Sorry, I'm totally new to all this ipod stuff, so this may be a stupid question....

    You pretty much have to have Windows or Mac OS. Try asking to use a friends PC, or just get Windows or Mac OS. Sorry, but I have heard of no other options of how to use iTunes.

        Freespire is Linux i believe...but what the hell is dual boot and how do i do it?

          Dual boot would be the ability to allocate some of your HD space and install Windows on that section. When you boot the computer you would then be given the option of starting in Linux, or in Windows.
