    Suggestions for Selling on EBAY

I am putting some of my old games for sell on EBAY, and I would like to get you guys opinions on pricing and shipping. I am listing Superman Returns (360) for $25 / $3 shipping, Saint's Row (360) for $20 / $3, Jaws Unleashed (XBOX) for $3 / $3, and X-men Legends 1 and 2 (XBOX) for $3 / $5 shipping. Am I asking too much for any of this, or do these prices seem reasonable? Thanks for any advice you may be able to give, as this is the first time I use EBAY to sell my old games.

When I sell games on there i just put a .99 cent starting bid and people bid like crazy... it's more appealing to have a low starting bid than seeing it start at like 19.99

yeah, don't do buy it now on your 360 games, just start at 0.99 and they'll take off on the last day. free shipping will get you even more bids.

Good advice so far, I'll throw this in. When I sell on eBay, I make sure my auction makes it to the weekend/through the weekend. It seems like you get more visits/bids during the weekend.

Yep, I got one ending 45 minutes before kickoff for the Georgia/Virginia Tech game, Saturday night. My reserve is already met, and I got a few more days of bidding. Yeah baby!

I've never sold games/movies on Ebay but have sold a ton on half.com, Ebay's sister site. If you price competitively, you can sell very quickly. I've sold games & movies within a matter of hours of posting on Half.com. If you have an Ebay account you can list stuff for sale on Half.com.

if you accept paypal, please use USPS delivery confirmation or paypals shipping service which are online trackable service. this is one of paypals protection policies just in case. its there to protect you, so try to add 50 cents to your ship price or consider it when you make your auction price

Re: Suggestions for Selling on EBAY

Question relating to half.com sales. I sold an item this morning and I have my bank account information on there to get my money. I got the sale confirmation e-mail this morning and the half.com stuff all says the payment has been received. But according to my online banking, I haven't received the payment yet, it isn't even in the processing stage.

Anybody sell on half.com know how long it usually takes for the money to show up in your bank account?

Buy & sell electronics, cars, clothes, collectibles & more on eBay, the world's online marketplace. Top brands, low prices & free shipping on many items.

                      When do I get paid?

Sellers will receive payment by direct deposit and will be paid twice monthly. Payment periods will end on the 15th and last day of each month. Your seller account balance at the end of each period will be deposited in your personal checking account approximately 7 business days after the end of the period. For example, if your seller account balance on the 15th of the month is $35, then you should expect a $35 deposit to your personal checking account in approximately 7 business days. Direct deposit is being offered free of charge to all Sellers!

For additional information, please refer to our Seller Payment Policy.

Re: Suggestions for Selling on EBAY

Thanks, the only info I found on their site was "expect direct deposits to show up in a few days", but I guess that is a few days after the first or 15th. So if half.com says the payment is received then safe to ship the item?

Also, with the USPS confirmation of delivery, am I able to track online when it has been delivered? Not sure how that works, I am on the usps site, all I need to do is pay the 50 cent confirmation of delivery fee and that will provide some kind of notice when they shipment reaches the destination?
