Even a terrific performance by Michael Caine and great cinematography couldn't save this dud.

The film just dragged on and Clive Owen just mailed in his performance for a big payday. The storyline had a lot of potential but it was never fully realized.

Yeah, Asian.. off those two reviews I have decided to not give a rat's *** about anything you have to say on movies in the future. You also gave Transformer's an A? I don't know what your criteria is, but that's why I can never trust someone else's opinion on films.

Great movie, great direction. That end scene with no cuts was brilliant. You really felt like you were in a war zone.

While I don't agree with his assessment that Spidey 3 was a B+ (more like C to C+), I agree with his opinion that Children of Men is an overrated pile of ****.

If it weren't for the brilliant final long take war scene, the movie would have been a D+ at best. With the final scene, I would give it a C.

I place Children of Men in with Babel and The Ring. Movies I expected to be good, and ended up being terrible.

To me it was a big WTF movie, meaning it was just a bunch of "WTF was that, did this happen, that **** was retarted" However it was a good movie, but WTF.

I’m merely stating my opinion on the film. Everybody has different tastes. You should never see or ignore a film based on one person’s view unless you feel like their opinions on other movies matches yours.

I grade movies on how much I enjoyed them.

More power to you, but when you post your opinion on films, on a message board, you can expect that some will disagree. And believe me, I never see nor ignore a film or album or anything based on somebody else's opinion. I just stated that yours doesn't hold much water anymore. Maybe I could have done without coming off rudely though. My bad.

I liked the movie a lot. Finally saw it for the first time a few weeks ago.

I couldn't believe towards the end when Clive jumped on the bus with the people hiding someone (Could have been when Clive) gets shot and the blood spat onto the camera lens and they left it there. There was like 2 or 3 droplets you could faintly see on the camera, but it kept rolling. Crazy stuff!
