Don't know if this was posted already just curious what people thought about this? I was pretty dissapointed with the original ff movie. I'm kind of undecided on the trailer still some lame humor I see damn it wish their was a Batman Dark Night trailer already.

I think that the first movie's biggest weakness was the development of the characters into their hero power stuff. Once it started going it got good IMO. I expect this to attract little kids as well (though it's PG-13), so I imagine it to be the same style as the other movie... though since they're more or less superheros the entire time, they'll have time to implement a lot more within the movie.

Thing in 1st movie was too small. CGI would've helped the cause a la Dr. J/Mr. H in League of E. Gentlemen (bad movie, but that was a good effect!).Comment

Silver Surfer looks great but this leads me to ask....Will we see a third film that retells the storyline with Galactus?
I sure hope so as that would be VERY cool.

I disagree with that. The entire movie was spent on the characters and little spent on a good evil plot. 3/4 of the movie was just about how they got their powers, their relationships, etc. Not enough of the movie was about Dr. Doom and a good evil plot. The entire movie was almost like a setup movie for the sequel with Dr. Doom just trying to kill them all at the end. I liked it but it could have been a lot better. I actually liked the first movie and Silver Surfer is one of my favorite Marvel characters. I'd love to see Silver Surfer's role as a herald of Galactus explored in this movie or the next one, as that would be totally awesome. The whole outer space dimension of the Marvel universe is really cool, imo.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

I thought the first movie was going to be horrible, but it actually turned out to be decent/somewhat entertaining. The new teaser trailer is very cool; nice take on the Silver Surfer. Definitely has me more interested in the movie than I wasHBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

Holy S***! I absolutely love the Silver Surfer, he is one of my all time favorites. Man, the trailer has me geeked up! They should just use this movie to introduce the SS and then branch off into a SS only movie and explain his beginning and let him have his own outerspace adventure movie. I know, I know, it will never happen but still. I am off to watch the trailer again...for the 4th time.Comment

Ok. After looking at the trailer a couple of times I have a question. Did the SS have phase through abilities in the comics? I don't remember him ever phasing through things like he does in the trailer. He wields the power cosmic.(I love that, I also love when Galactus says "the great hunger is upon me") Is this some new power bestowed upon him for the movie?Comment
