    Re: Rules of Engagement

It was on at work last night, so I watched it. Had no intention, but it was on in the lounge.

It was sort of "eh" for me. Warburton's delivery is great. But the writing was so-so, with basically old, tried-and-true humor about what its like to be married.

Same here... I was kinda like, "Joe Dirt is now a pimp?!?!?"

Patrick Warburton's delivery is the funniest part of the show.

I found the show extremely funny, however, those that say they like the class better, I wonder if age makes a difference, I'm 29 and been married for 8 years now. Maybe I could just appreciate the married jokes better. I think some of you that didn't enjoy it as much may be younger. Could be wrong just my theory.

I'm 34, and married for 8 years as well... While I appreciated where the jokes on ROE came from, I just didn't enjoy it as much as The Class.

Jenifer is hot. I know, understatement of the year but damn she is gorgeous.

Seems like it's losing it's popularity on the OS board. This past episode was terrible-I only watched it because I just started getting CBS in high def this Saturday. Amazing that it's getting such good ratings.

I love the show. I'll tell you why it gets high ratings, just look at Jennifer.

I think the show is great. I think Patrick Warburton's character (which is pretty much the same character he always plays) is very funny. The scene this week in the doctor's office when he was going to give a sample... I was rolling off the couch laughing.

Last night was the season finale. He'll always be Putty to me, but Warburton is hilarious. Any word on the ratings and if this will be picked up for a full season next year?

Great ratings, but just about everything in that hour with "Two and a Half Men" has done well ratings-wise.

I hope it comes back. it's a lot better than that "Old Christine" show.

Watched two more episodes only cause I crave high def shows, and I have to say I disagree with you guys. It just doesn't work for me. Even the studio audience seems uninterested. The thing with the "She Said It Girl" and Adam and Jennifer's problems were pretty lame (IMO!!!) Anyone else agree with me or am I the Lone Ranger on this one?

I think it's a guarantee to be back with it's ratings and Sandler's backing. Adam even filled in for Letterman last night, so his relationship with CBS has to be pretty good.

I honestly love the show. It's funny to me. It's not on the same level as HIMYM but I still watch this every week. Great show.
