    1080P already old news

You knew it was bound to happen! LOL Westinghouse is unveiling a 56" LCD TV in 2160P (3840X2160 resolution) at the 2007 CES.

    When will it end?!

That is insane. Toshiba is to unveil their SED technology that they have been having problems with. This needs to end.

I have read the same that if it's bigger than 50", 1080p makes a difference at that point. Anything smaller doesn't.

Dang, I wonder how noticeable the difference is. Theres got to be a limit to how far they can keep taking these things.

That's what I'm wondering. We might not even see broadcast 1080p in our lifetime! Until they figure out ways to increase bandwidth, 1080p and 2160p won't be broadcast anytime soon.

The limit is when the world comes because they'll be pushing it down our thoats. If we pay, they'll put out. Simple as that. Personally, this stuff is laughable. Craziness of technology. Sometimes it's wonderful, while other times.......

thats a great point, and acorrding to the FCC, the 720p/1080i broacast will be lasting a ling time, there isn't even a thought of broadcasting anything in 1080p yet, maybe 15 years from now.
