    Knights of Prosperity

Anyone catch this on Wednesday or the repeat of the pilot Friday night?

I thought it was very funny. I've always liked the main character as a comedy actor on television. Sofia Vergera offers eye-candy and does alright as an actress.

The rest of the crew is great.

I really enjoyed the differences between the characters and the actors chosen to represent them. Most comedies take a safe approach with their characters. These guys aren't safe at all. They look like bums on the street and complete failures waiting to happen. I'm guessing that's part of the comedy though (it makes me laugh).

So far they are planning to rob Rolling Stones lead man Mick Jagger. Previews show that they'll target other celebrities during the season.

I loved it too and plan to watch it each week. Unfortunately though from the reviews i've read of it the critics have said that the laughs go down each episode quite a bit. Not to mention Mick Jagger isn't supposed to really be in it anymore and some of his scenes were some of the funniest ones. Oh how bout that chick they brought in huh? Yowsa!!!

Yea, that's Sofia Vergera. I'm impressed with her brunette look. Much better than the lighter color she had years prior.

I heard the same about Jagger not being in any of the other episodes. That's a shame because his scenes were definitely hilarious. The scenes with him kicking the soccer ball into the goal while that kid stood there "blocking" the shots. Classic tv.

Yeah the funny thing is you just KNOW some executive probably watched the show and said "I like it, it's pretty good, but it's missing something. How about we add this..."

...and immediately all the male executives agreed while the couple of female execs rolled their eyes. LOL

Ive been really digging this show, but IMO the show afterwards, In Case of Emergency i think, is funnier.

A friend of mine tells me that In Case... is hilarious. Tough to get her, though. She thinks American Dad is great (and I agree), but doesn't like Family Guy.

I'll check out this show after Knights next week.

American Dad is not that great, Family Guy is great. Maybe it's just I don't like the sense of humour this show exudes. I don't find American Dad funny very often at all. Seth McFarlane does not work on the show like he does Family Guy and IMO it shows.

I would agree with you on last season, but ever since Stan went to Arabia and came back, American Dad has been quality funny - at times even funnier than Family Guy.
