Yeah, I voted for #3, but I thought #12 was really good too.

I don't even have to look at them to know that they should keep running the Don Cheadle commercials from a couple years ago...

Those are, by FAR, the best playoff commercials for any sport I have ever seen.

How many people submitted commercials? 15?

Did 3 not make the cut? How bad were they?

I don't really like any of the ideas. The one involving the deaf child will probably win, as that will pull the heartstrings, but I think we all need to remember these commercials are for a football game and not a Lifetime original movie.

12 was way ahead, even though I voted for 3. 12 was banging though!

Thanks, Fresh. I think Firefox is acting up....I'll just watch them on YouTube. #12 sounds pretty good, would probably have that sentimental + epic feel to it.

I still think they should go with Cheadle, but I digress.

EDIT: Okay, I just watched all of them, and the best one by FAR is #11.

#3, #5, and #12 are pretty darn good too.

                      Here's what I'd change about #11 though....

I don't know about "Miami" being the song of choice there. I think they should just keep it in black and white, with slow motion flash bulbs, and the crowd yelling with no sound. Somehow, they can identify that it is Super Bowl XLI, but still no sound except the heartbeat or the disembodied voice saying the closing line. That way you keep the "epic" feel of the commercial throughout.

The problem with a few of these are that they're funny. They'd make GREAT commercials, but a Super Bowl Ad needs to convey that legendary feeling and give us chills.

It's been done to death but it's the only real way to capture the magnitude of the Super Bowl.

#3 is easily the best IMO.
