JB is a tool whose only foil was Persia. Hopefully $hamrock will bust his balls over his nonsense now that Persia sadly had to step off.

Is he still talking about that "ghetto movement" or whatever the hell he was talking about in the begininng?

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

You're close, but it was producer/MC Large Professor who discovered Nas. MC Serch (of 3rd Bass fame) is the one who let Nas get busy on the posse track "Back To The Grill" from his solo LP Return of the Product. This is Nas' second cameo appearance back before he dropped Illmatic. (The first is "Live at the B.B.Q." from Main Source debut LP Breaking Atoms). Serch also helped Nas behind the scenes with the arrangement of Illmatic.

I think its just the product of the Storch beats 50 gets. Storch is a musical genius so 50 could say pretty much anything and people would jam to it. All those hooks seem pretty typical to me. Im not trying to argue just for the sake of arguing im being completely honest. Just picture a guy like Jon Brown saying those same hooks a capella, and they just dont sound as appealing.
