You know what it comes down to? Hate plain and simple, JT has done more in his short life than most will do if they lived till 250 years old, they are just jealous.

And why is this guy trying to be a Justin Timberlake defender?

            Why not?

There is no reason to hate on the guy other than the fact that he is rich, famous, and the ladies seem to like him.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one is "hating"(I really wish people would stop saying this) him but there are people who like him and others who don't. Just like how he has somehow done more than we will if we lived to be 250, he doesn't care whether some guy says anything about him on here or if a guy defends him. He's not going to give him a high five or pay his bills or anything so why get so offended?

JT is actually incredibly nice in real life. I met him two years ago while I was out at the mall with my sister. Granted she was freaking out and much more excited, but we talked to him for five minutes, and he didn't seem annoyed or anything. He was a lot nicer than any of the other celebrities I've met at that mall - Natick Mall seems to be popular for musicians playing at the DCU center.

So, while you may dislike the word "hating," most people who "dislike" him have no reason to, which I would classify as "hating" on him.

I don't hate him. I actually think he is a good entertainer. Funny guy too. All I said was, it would be hard to take his character seriously in this movie. Simply because I have never seen him in this type of role and his history hasn't shown him capable of playing this type of role.

Its kind of like Adam Sandler playing more serious roles instead of humorous ones. You aren't sure if they are capable until you actually see it.

After seeing Dick in a box I actually think he's pretty cool and he's an alright singer but I do not want to see him in any movie, especially one that looks dumb in the first place.

I definitely think it could be dumb, though it could surprise and be entertaining. I'm not going to spend 9+ dollars to see it in theaters when I can see it for 3 when it comes out on DVD.

And I wasn't specifically talking to you in that post...just quoted yours because of the "high-five" thing reminding me about meeting Justin. Didn't mean to make you think I was directing that right at you.

not sure I understand the hate for JT.

Has anyone else seen Edison Force? I rented it a couple weeks ago, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, JT, LL Cool J.

Very good movie, and Timberlake was really great in it. He's got the chops to cut it as an actor if he so chose.

He's not the only celeb I don't like. Many of them rub me the wrong way. His little act with Janet Jackson where he was acting like he was having sex on stage made me a non-fan.

I think you'll find most men in their late 30's and older aren't fans of Timberlake and his contemporaries. We're from a different generation and grew up thinking John Wayne was what was cool, not some hip-hop punk gyrating his hips and sticking his dick out on national television.

Curious, what'd you think of Elvis?

This is a good movie which i want to see, but there's a better movie coming out called "3 Aces" or something like that...it's about finding the snitch and taking the snitch out.
