Wow i'm surprised it took ESPN this long to cancel the show. That being said I did see a couple episodes and I thought it was interesting. It wasn't appointment making TV but it was good enough to pass the time by.

As for Rome is Burning, that show is still on the air?! You know how bad that show is? TSN here in Canada aired it for a few months and the ratings were so low that they wisely stopped airing it. At least we still get PTI

I'll never forget the weekend morning when I turned on my TV to find Screamin' A and Skip Bayless screaming at each other full throttle. That type of trainwreck is never high on my list of things to hear, but first thing in the morning like that was almost enough to make me cry.

Regardless, Quite Frankly will always hold a special place in my heart 'cause I was on it once, asking a question. Boo-yah!

As an anylist when he comes on Sports Center or ESPNews I hated him but his show was not bad. I think the time slot sucked but PTI isn't what it used to be mainly b/c of all the subs and I've never like Reali as the host of AtH. Max was still able to throw in smart insight even when he was bias to certain people on the panel.

I remember when Kellerman went to Fox and tried to revive ATH as I, Max with the studio voice guy and Michael Holley, the black guy from the Boston Globe with the long hair and nose ring.

Sadly it looks like from his Wikipedia page that he only does radio work now. Wow, he had a job hosting a show on ESPN by age 29 and is now back in radio. Talk about a fickle biz.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised it took ESPN this long to pull the plug on this talentless, race-baiting hack.

I absolutely loved I, Max. I heard the show was canceled after Max's brother was killed. He took a leave of absence and the show was never the same. They tried to change the format but they couldn't get it back.

I re-read his Wiki page, apparently it took a hiatus while he coped with his brother's murder and came back for a while, then it was dropped because of creative differences.

I don't know the guy, but I get the feeling he is beyond difficult to work with, given that he left both ESPN and FSN under similar circumstances.

Quite often the personality traits that help a person reach a certain station in life, ultimately causes their undoing as well.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Well since If Wikipedia Says It, It Must Be True; you should have saw that does boxing on HBO. Having a radio show in a top market like NYC isn't anything to turn your noise up at. I don't know about other towns but here in Dallas we have two sports stations but the Dan Patrick, Mike and Mike and Late night Sporting news radio is the only national syndication we get.

Maybe the talentless was what got me all riled up. Most of the few times I did catch the show it just happened to have something to do with race.

But seriously, I just don't understand the animosity towards Stephen A.......... he comes on at night when East-Coasters are sleeping and even Central Time zoners are most likely in the bed. It's not that hard to side-step seeing Stephen A. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen him on TV in quite some time.

He's a little LOUD, true, but as long as there's not any other LOUD types like him next to him during a show, then I think it's okay. Plus at least he's something different to me, what he says is more likely to stick, at least to me. Not saying that what he says is more important because he's LOUD, but at least to me, it sticks more often.

I guess you will say I am the audience that Espen is catering to............ well if he's on TV then I guess somebody likes him and he had to have a decent amount of talent to get to where he is.
