    ---------------
Harry Dunne: What's her last name?

Lloyd Christmas: You know, I don't really recall. Uh, it starts with "S". Let's see. Swammi? Slippy? Slappy? Swenson? Swanson?

Harry Dunne: Maybe it's on the briefcase.

    Lloyd Christmas: Oh, yeah!
[He reads the manufacturer's name, which is Samsonite]

Lloyd Christmas: Here it is! "Samsonite"! I was way off! I knew it started with an "S" though.

This wouldn't interest me at all. Maybe if I had a device that would put the stream onto my big TV, but I don't have any interest in watching something on my computer monitor. I do think Netflix needs to start coming up with some new ideas though, because IMO Blockbuster hands a much better service.

yeah that sucks, especially as Bluray and HD DVD's become more popular. Why would you want to watch a movie that's supposed to be 1080p on some small computer screen?

, also the exclusive 3yr deal Blockbuster signed with The Weinstein Company will be a big deal too. All movies made by this company can only be rented at a Blockbuster Store or Online. The Protector, which was released today, was made by this company.

Who says you have to? I have my computer hooked up via VGA to my TV. Looks great. Any movies I download would look just as good as a regular HD movie viewed through HBO, showtime, etc.

What do you need to connect a PC to TV for viewing?

I've been considering doing this so I could stream my racing related videos on my PC to my television, and then use my DVD recorder to record the shows onto a DVD.

Well I have a Geforce 6800 GT with dual DVI outs. Then I just bought a DVI-to-VGA cable and plugged it from one of the computer DVI ports into the VGA of my TV. After that it's just a matter of clicking in your computer to switch your output to your TV.
