That is a good list I grew up with the guys from Metallica so that is cool. Iron was a bad *** band! I will never forget their concerts. And that big old Eddie coming out! lol. Also, I think GNR Appetite For Destruction is a great album. But still a good list!

Why oh why is Heavy Metal back in my life? It should've remained dead and buried. It's long overdue for other genres of music to come back. Like say, I don't know......

Kinda hard to believe that the Crue made the list and not GnR. And In FLames should have made the list not just some honorable mention BS. Some of the songs on each list aren't even metal IMO.

Yeah not a bad list, but some of them I don't consider as metal. Oh they played guitar and had big hair, so they were metal

While I pay the tribute to ozzy/sabbath, metallica/megadeth, and pantera, my favorite on that list has to be sepultura roots.

I laughed when the only 2 on there that were from the past 10 years, I never heard of.

I'm more of a slipknot, mudvayne, chimaira listener...if that's even considered metal anymore. I'd take slipknot vol 3 or mudvayne lost and found over quite a few of those 25, but that's just me.

In Flames is a band you'd like, I love slipknot mudvayne and the like, and In Flames is just as good.
