I'm looking for a CUDA in decent shape right now. Wanting to completely restore it.

Anyway, you've got some good advice in this thread. Definitely don't buy the memory until you know what motherboard you get.. have to make sure it's the right kind
Wanna work out a trade involving the diamond and the barracuda? lol

Ya, bought it from a guy in florida... paid quite a bit for it... its in perfect shape except me and my buddy rebuilt the engine.. reason being that this guy hardly ever drove it for the last 20 years lol.. he bought it in 71, its a 1972 Plymouth Barracuda 340. Its great. Havent driven it since october tho (although i start it twice a week--its at my g/fs house).

Yes I do have pics, altho im away at school, soon enough I can scan them im sure

Diamond for Barracuda, lol... straight up baby... I really am looking for one. I was looking for a straight Cuda... but I am getting ready to lower my standards and look for just a Barracuda. Don't guess I need that much more... but with a 340, that thing should move pretty nicely. What color do you have?

Why don't you drive it? Didn't mean to throw this thread off course, lol...

It needed new paint so we did it this orangy-red.. with 2 white stripes with a black outline...

as for the interier, its still the same.. no cd player, nothing of the new technology...

we rebuilt the engine, it runs alot 'cleaner' now..

well, im from ontario so i can only drive it in the summer.. for obvious reasons..loh

What skill level should someone be in order to attempt building their own computer? I've changed cards and drives and installed memory but that's about all.

It doesn't take much more than that. That and being long on patience really.

Theres not much to it really. You get the motherboard and all the compatible parts and plug the wires and cards in where they fit. There is a little more to it, but if you've changed stuff out before its basically the same thing except this time your changing every part.
