Wow, that is one crazy looking creature... there is just so much we haven't discovered about our world.

Ok, why no audio commentary while that vid was going on? I think the scuba dude had a remote control in his hands! Wait, what am I saying? CNN would never lie to us!

That story reminds me of an article I read about the possible existence of Megaloden(sp?) which was the prehistoric ancestor of the great white shark. This thing grew to about 50 feet long but some researchers believe they could still live in the dark depths of the ocean because as long as there was still a food supply in the ocean's depths there's a small chance it still exists and there's no ggod reason why they would lose thier food supply . Dead ones wouldn't wash ashore because they didn't have flotation bladders so they would just sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Imagine seeing one of those alive that are 3x the size of a great white. It would eat you without even knowing it, we would be like dental floss for them.

Ah... I rememeber reading about those as well man... I'd say there are some VERY interesting creatures down there. Maybe one day, we'll be able to explore those depths.

I can't believe we can send things out into space, yet we can't even go underwater.

                  ****'s weak.

it's amazing what is being discovered.. with "old creatures" still roaming around, I still believe that there can be those "beasts of lore", such as the Loch Ness monster & such..

I'd love to have them find such creatures. That would be amazing.

I mean, there are Leprechauns, so why not?
