Apple Garage Band

Anyone have this (part of iLife) and actually use it?

Lately, I've been thinking about getting a MAC because I'd like a laptop, and this product is the most intriguing thing to me. Recently, I've really wanted to start learning more about music (including music theory) and perhaps start creating some of my own.

I was just wondering if anyone uses it, and if you'd recommend it. I've heard from reviews that it's fairly easy to use, even for people that aren't very musically inclined, such as myself.

I have a Mac, and I love GarageBand. I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but I have fun anyway!

I would say it is pretty limiting if you don't have a midi keyboard. Also, if you don't know how to play piano ahead of time you are going to have a tough time doing it.

Fantastic piece of software. I highly recommend it if you're into creating your own music.
