I liked the first one, don't know about a sequel, though.

Is this going to be in theatres or go straight to video? I only ask because I don't recall how 28 Days Later did in theatres so just curious which route the sequel will be going.

I liked 28 days later much better because it wasn't that mindless zombie shuffling stuff. I'm not really into scary movies....but I might make this exception.

I haven't seen the first movie, so I don't know if Cillian Murphy died in the first one, but considering he's not in this one, and it's a sequel, and it's a new director, I can't see how this will be as much of a hit regardless how good the movie is.

Btw, the director of 28 days later and Murphy teamed up for another movie coming out soon called Sunshine, looks pretty intense IMO...

Over $75 million worldwide which according to director Danny Boyle was a huge accomplishment.

He isn't directing the sequal, he as well as Cillian Murphy are doing Sunshine (awesome) but he is producing it, which gives me hope.

Robert Carlyle? I haven't seen that boy since Formula 51

I have to see this movie. Probably not in the theater, though. I hate zombie flicks...hate them to death....but 28 Days Later was my jawn.

28 Days later is easily in my top ten of all time, so I'll have to see this.

Sunshine has been on my radar as well.

                  Looks good so far!

Could be good, the first one was great, but you know what happens with sequels.

I've seen the trailer for Sunshine and to me, it looked absolutely terrible.

Sunshine looks pretty good... maybe some nasty deaths involved too, haha.

They made an enormous profit from what I heard. Makes sense considering that the thing was shot with a handheld camera.
