DVR Question
Is there anyway to transfer stuff you saved on your DVR to your PC? I'd love to save start saving sporting events (I used to VHS back in the day) again but I don't know if it's possible because the HD on the cable box doesn't provide that much room."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: DVR Question
Why is it against TOS? I'm not going to do anything illegal. I don't think people would be willing to pay for a copy of a Syracuse/UConn game when both teams stink!"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: DVR Question
Thanks, I'll definitely look into that. Plus it'll probably be a much more user-friendly experience than all the programs, drivers, etc you have to DL to run extract something off a Comcast DVR."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: DVR Question
Like fishepa stated, probably for future use.
I know my cable company doesn't allow for transferring files off of the DVR. The firewire port is active so I can do it, but none of my PC's or laptop's have a firewire port to get the data off of my DVR. I could by a card to put in one of my PC's, but then I'd have to carry the PC downstairs or the DVR upstairs to do the transfer. Just wasn't worth it to me.
I wish cable companies made it easier...Comment
