The guy knows the game of basketball better than anyone I've ever heard color commentate. How could you not like that?

I know why....because he comes across "and btw, I know more about the game of basketball than any of you and I will let you know that either by directly telling you or by inference." That's why.

Oh yeah Joe Buck really gets irrates me.

I remember the whole Moss ordeal and Buck made it seem like Randy had gone out to the midline of the field and started to club baby harp seals.

I also have the standard Skip and Sean Salisbury. (Allegedly shows pictures of Lil' Sean to people and keeps his job. Yet Harold Reynolds lost his.)

This is local, but I am not a big fan of Mike Trivisano.

I'm sick of Berman as well.

I second that one...I cant stand Joe Buck...and Salisbury....if this dude ever stood by one comment he made, It might be easier to listen to him.....every week I had to listen to how the Cowboys were the best thing going, then the Saints are the best thing going...then Nobody can beat the Chargers....and thats fine, but he acted like he never even said his prior comments. They call that expert analyisis.......its seems like half the guys on this board do a better job at predicting whats going to happen then most of those idiots.

A TV personality can let bias impact what he says to some degree, but the job of a PLAY-BY-PLAY ANNOUNCER, is to objectively "report" the happenings of the game. The rest is up to the color guy. I blame Joe Buck for single-handedly letting that Randy Moss "mooning" incident get blown WAYYYYY out of proportion.

I swear every time Joe *UCK opens his mouth, I can feel his hatred for the city of Chicago and its sports teams. I have to hear his voice enough on Fox and Im lucky enough to live in St louis...so I get to see him selling cars, beer, his place ( JBucks ) so I get way more of Joe Buck then a human should ever have to endure

Walton does give a more accurate and informed commentary than others, but that is not why I dislike him.

The reason why I can't stand Walton is that he is so pompous about his insight. He acts as if he dropped 50 and 20 ever night he laced them up. Also he plays favorites with players, excusing mistakes of one while flaming another for the same miscue. He is very fickle and trendy with his perceptions.

Also he wants to be a hippy. Who in their right mind would want to be a dirty hippy?

Finally I don't like his big dumb face and I hate hearing his goofy voice.

I think that about covers it.

Ah, but when Madden is fired up and is motivated he does a damn fine job. Examples: NE/INDY this season and most of the games in the 2nd half of the year. He's still a lot better then some of the analysts on the TV side which in some ways is sad.

Anyways this would be a lot easier if we were doing a list of guys we LIKE. That being said here's who I can't stand:
