It's a way for hackers to phish for passwords and emails. Don't be fooled by those. You can never track who views you.
Another tidbit, if you go to view someone's myspace and have already logged in, but it asks you to log in... DO NOT put your info on that page. Some pages have their profiles set as fake login pages to phish for passwords and emails.
And honestly, I'm getting sick of the spamming on the bulletins.

Actually, some of them did used to work. There was one called http://www.whospyme.net/ that worked before Tom/MySpace got it shut down. It would show the profile of who showed it, the person's IP Address, the time viewed, etc.

Profileviewsplus worked perfectly until mid-December. As long as a person was signed in to their account when viewing your profile it would show you who it was. But my space did something that changes the code when you update your page so it no longer shows you who. All you get now its time, IP, and location. I've found several other that work like that but none that are nearly as good as PVP was.Comment

LOL I got hacked a while back with a phony penis enlargment ad. The ad talked about how "My friend Pete tried it and it worked" funny thing is one of my best friends name is Pete. I've had two on my page. Didn't add them off bullentins or messages, though. Both worked from the beginning, and then one stopped and the other had "delayed tracking", despite the myspace hits counter continuing to work.
