Actually, it was quite critically acclaimed. And the reason it hasn't swept the nation is because it has received almost zero radio play. Country stations still absolutely refuse to play anything they have put out, and only a handful of Top 40 stations around the country took a chance on "Not Ready To Make Nice" -- most of which pulled it within a matter of weeks because of the people and advertisers who threatened to boycott. I think was a great way for them to get the credit they deserve and to shut all the effin hillbillies up.

And I actually thought this was one of the better Grammy shows this decade. Definitely the first time in a number of years I've been able to sit through the whole thing.

That's funny, I didn't know effin hillbillies ran the Top 40 stations as well... Learn something new everyday.

Exactly, every genre should have it's own awards show. I know the music industry and awards shows don't recognize Heavy Metal but this is a must have. All we have is a bunch of froot loops and fruit cakes. Metal will get everyone in the mood and wish that night would never end.

However, I dont agree with John Mayor beating out Justin for best pop album. I dont have the justin album and only have heard the songs MTV has aired from him, but freakin john mayor? come on now.

John Mayer is a very gifted musician. Albeit, I don't like him, but, I'd think he'd be more deserving of any award than Timberlake.
