Pedigree. I used to feed her that Iams stuff when I first got her, but it was too expensive for me at the time. She didn't like it at first, but by then I was a firm believer in the Dissing your Dog method. She got over it.

We feed our cats Iams Weight Control/Hairball formula. Our ferrets get 8in1 brand food, it is the only food they will eat, anything else will immediately be dug out of their dish and thrown onto the floor.

My cat ate Science Diet Original until recently....


But he got a bladder stone, and we had to switch him to prescription food to reduce the calcium in his system. Hill's (same as Science Diet) x/d prescription. Costs twice as much, so it better work!

One thing I've come to realize when buying dog food is to check the ingredients to ensure that non of the first few ingredients are a by-product.

My cat gets some perscription stuff because her kidneys are on their way out. She was switched to this stuff a couple years ago and it's really done wonders for her as her water consumption and trips to the litterbox have been cut down. She's 16 and doesn't look a day over 10.

We feed our dog Purina One Beef n Rice or Lamb n Rice

As little table scraps as possible. She is a beagle/spaniel mix.
