please help!

ive downloaded a virus off of limewire. every time i log into my computer lime wire starts up automatically and all of these wierd files are in my library.if i exit off of limewire,my computer shuts off. what should i do?

prolly wasn't.

try doing this.. (don't exit out limewire, just let it run in the background for now)

go to your start -> run -> then type in msconfig

when this comes up, goto your startup tab.

Look for the limewire program, and uncheck it. Click on ok, and it will prompt you to restart your computer. Do so, and see if it helps.

Oh and afterwards, try deleting the file(s) FIRST.. than uninstall limewire.

And for future purposes, don't run anything that you've downloaded from limewire without scanning it first.
