Anyone hear about this? It happened on the 10th at The Comedy Store, the video is on YouTube.

Rogan also wrote about it on his website (www.joerogan.net). I remember hearing about this Rogan/Mencia beef a few months ago, but I guess they finally went at it.

I never knew Mencia stole people's stuff but it's pretty apparent after watching that he definitely does. And I have never found Mencia all that funny either so I don't even really agree he's a good performer like Rogan says.

For it to be Mencia's show, the crowd seemed to be pretty pro Rogan. If Mencia does steal his material, and it really looks like he does, I don't have any problem with what Rogan did.

Apparently, Rogan introduced Mencia as "Menstealia" and then Mencia said on that Rogan was too much of a ***** to say it to his face. Looks like Joe Rogan proved him wrong. :y4:

So here’s how it all went down…
I had a set at the comedy store Saturday night, and after I closed, I was bringing on the next comedian, a guy named Kirk Fox that works for Carlos Mencia.
I introduce him saying that he’s a funny guy, and that he opens on the road for Carlos “Menstealia.” That’s the name we call him at the comedy store, and of course Carlos doesn’t like it one bit.
Carlos was apparently in the room when I said this, and the perfect combination of ego and timing made him decide that this was the night to put his foot down.
As I got off stage and headed towards the back of the room, he grabbed the mike away from Kirk, and said that I was too much of a ***** to say that **** to his face.
Which to me, is something akin to the hottest girl in the world daring you to **** her while you’re standing there in her bedroom naked with a boner.

Looks like it wasn't Menstealia's show, he just happened to be there (Probably stealing other people's material).

he didn't bum rush mencia's show, mencia wasn't even performing that night. rogan was just introducing someone that worked on mencia's show and he said something about his boss being carlos menstealia and then had actually walked off the stage and down the hall and then carlos went on stage and said that rogan was too much of a p*ssy to say that to his face.

so as far as i'm concerned mencia threw down the gauntlet so he deserved what he got.
