    2007 Television Series Finales

I know The O.C. is mercifully going off the air this week, which prompts me to ask what other shows are giving us their swan song this year? I Googled this but didn't come back with much.

Here are some shows that I really think will be gone:
    1. One Tree Hill
Unless they find away to keep milking seasons while in HS. Then again I always think these shows should end at HS graduation.
    2. Veronica Mars
One of the most under appreciated shows on television, but the ratings aren't there and the current season was cut from 22 to 20 episodes. That can't bode well.
So what else is potentially on the chopping block?

That show has been on forever, didn't it replace L.A. Law in the 10pm Thursday slot?

From looking at Tvseriesfinale.com it looks like Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is getting the ax soon.

According to TV.com L.A. Law was a Friday show but you get half points as ER premiered in '94. Damn I knew it was a long running show but DAMN!

Still no one can beat the original Law & Order for longevity

L.A. Law may have been a Friday show at one time, but the more I think the more I remember it ended on Thursdays.

Law & Order, as much as this pains me to say because this show has influenced my life path, needs to end its run soon. Lately it has been pure crap.

            EDIT
And in a topic where L.A. Law and series finale are mentioned, I must say that L.A. Law had one of, if not the worst series finale ever.

The O.C. has really gone downhill this past season and I just watch the show now to see how it ends.

I disagree. Law & Order has been pretty damn solid this season. And, SVU has been superb.

I agree. I loved the first season, the second season was a letdown, and the third was terrible. I'll probably watch the finale though, to see what they do.

The creator of OTH wants to "time travel" five years in the future if they have a 5th season, so he can skip college, which always seems to kill HS shows, 90210 survived it, i can't think of many others.

Dawson's Creek lasted through HS and into college, and actually had it's final episode do the time travel idea where they went 5 years ahead and showed what happened.

                          It's a pretty good idea.

Yeah, but once the show shifted from Capeside to Boston the show declined. Quickly. *owns every season*

Kinda crazy, though.. isn't this Veronica Mars only 3rd season to be on? And, it's ending? Hmm.
