I know someone will be able to help me with this. When I try to play videos using Firefox, I can't all the time because it says I'm missing plug-ins. So when I try to install them it tells me none were found but do I want to manually install plug-ins. But that doesn't work either. How do I get the correct plug-ins installed? Thanks!

I have that same issue, I sort of got over it, but if there's a fix, I'd greatly appreciate it also!

Firefox isn't compatible with everything, you'll just have to live with it.

Which makes having IE worth it since it seems it's compatible with everything in the world.

What videos aren't compatible with Firefox? There's not a video out there that I can't play on FF. QuickTime, RealPlayer, WMP, Shockwave, YouTube, Google, etc.

And for anything that FF can't play, just use VLC Media Player as your default player. It plays EVERYTHING without codec downloads.

I have no problem with Firefox playing videos now, but there was a time when certain embedded videos wouldn't play. I have Opera as a back up for this reason.

There's some special fix for it. I know exactly whta youre talking about I had this same problem. Search on the Firefox website or if you give me a few min I'll find it for you.

This is what I do when I encounter this problem. I use IE Tab which can be found here.

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/

If I get the missing plugin error, I click the little IE icon on the lower right corner of the screen, and it refreshes the page using IE without ever switching browsers.
