Edit: Looks like the only shows on at the time were the Oprah Winfrey Special and CSI: Miami.Last edited by Blaxican8504; 02-27-2007, 05:50 PM.Comment

I missed the show
I had a relative come in yesterday from abroad and spent most of the night talking to him and his gf. I hope the show is easy to get into because I plan to watch next week.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I hope this show doesn't get cancelled.
I think it has potential to be great."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Great show considering it's on TV. It won't replace The Sopranos, but it sure is nice to have some type of organized crime show to watch. If they can consistently bring in some interesting secondary characters it will really help. The ending of the pilot was great.Comment

Re: The Black Donnellys' (premiers 2/26 on NBC)
I think this was another very solid episode. I'm liking this show every minute.
Joey Icecream is a funny character. I wonder what the true deal is with him. He's telling the story of the Donnelly's but he's in jail. Seems as if the writers (and they are good ones) already have this show planned out from beginning to end. I'm hoping they can get to a true finale.
On another note, I really love the lighting in this show. Great use of darkness with subtle lighting in outside, night scenes. Even during the day, the use of natural light is beautiful. Really adds to the feel of the show."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. I am really enjoying this show. Tommy is a badass.
I liked the part about Tommy making a deal with God so that Jimmy would walk again and how losing the girl ended up being what he had to give up for that to happen.
I really like Joey Ice Cream as the narrator. Funny dude.
The show is very well written IMO.Comment
