Disable ALT Key in XP?

Does anyone know of a program or a command that I could use to disable the Alt Keys function in Windows XP??

My wifes laptop for some reason constantly thinks that she is holding down the ALT key, and it is pissing me off trying to figure out what is causing this...

Any help is appreciated..

Unfortunately from prior experience... I don't think there is a way. Other OS's and some other Windows ones as well offered it but can't do it with XP without a program.

Nope sticky keys is not the problem.. the box is not checked for sticky keys to be active..

Hmm... the key on the keyboard is normal? You sure there's not something underneath the key that's triggering it?

not sure GIGGAS, but I did finally find a freeware program that disables the ALT Key, and my wife said she used the laptop all day and had no problems...
