The academy loves Arkin and he's been around forever so I can't fault them THAT much for picking him as the winner but that's kinda surprising with all the good vibes surrounding Murphy.

This is some garbage. Arkin shouldnt have even been nominated. If anyone should have been nomianted from this movie it should have been Carell. I would have been ok with Hounsou and Early but Eddie should have won.

Why I do have this feeling that Little Miss Sunshine is gonna win best Picture. I hate when an average film gets all this overblown praise because it's an independent movie. I figure the Academy will give Marty best director but still stick it to him by shafting him out of best picture. The Departed is not one of his best pictures but they should just give it to him just to make up for Raging Bull getting nothing.

INfernal affairs was a chinese movie...not a japanese movie!! im pissed too...of course u can win an oscar for that when the original movie is basically a masterpiece.

The show has been on 1 hour 45 minutes and only one of the major awards has been given out (Alan Arkin, Best Supporting Actor).
