I was lookin around at different sites and even Ebay, and saw a few deals. My question is, if you get a new phone from not T Mobile or there authorized dealers is it a hassle to activate? Anyone know any good providers of T Mobile that sell the phones at a good price without the extra contract years? When its all said in done I probably will end up just paying the extra with T Mobile if it's such a hassle. I even heard a trick about adding a line, but seems like a lot of work.

T-Mobile upgrade?
Right now I just have a basic Razr phone from T-Mobile. I want to upgrade to a Blackberry. I looked and talked to Tmobile and they can give me a $100 discount but I have to add another 2 years on that(So around $299).

Re: T-Mobile upgrade?
You can't just create two accounts with the same company.
You could cancel out this contract and pay the fee, sign up for a new 2 year.
Those carts in the mall, and online places like wirefly.com, and letstalk.com won't just give you an extra phone because they are bound by the cell companies contractural accounts as well.
No way to get out of the 2 year thing. You can
Cancel, pay the fee and go to a new company (still have to get a 2 year)
Pay the fee for the phone you want (and get a 2 year)
Wait until your current deal is up and leave.
Even if you could add a line or whatever, they renew your 2 year.
My thing is, if you're going to be in the 2 year... you might as well get the phone that you want and pay that little extra to get it instead of getting one they promote just because its a promotion, or getting one you will want to get rid of in 3 months.
BTW, places like radioshack will screw you over with the kind of contracts they put you in.Comment
