I have been having a major problem with Thunderbird 1.5 and 2.0 trying to download messages. Thunderbird will return a "no messages on server" when I check for mail, but when I log on to GMail, there are new messages. I have mirrored the GMail settings, per the google website, in my client, but I still cannot receive new mail. I've tried enabling POP on the GMail site, but when I re-check, nothing is checked. If I check download ALL mail, Thunderbird will download every piece of mail off of the server, but nothing new incoming. Has anybody else had this problem?
