Re: The New Battlestar Galactica
Dude, I'm stil trying to take it in... I don't know what the heck to say.
That was like taking a chunk out of the show. I hope they have something in store unless they plan to make this the last season.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Re: The New Battlestar Galactica
Want some hints? Show-runner Ron Moore tends to draw a great deal from mythology and classic literature.
For example, consider the Greek myth of Helius.
Helius mated with Athena and the resulting offspring were a new race of people, the Corybantes. The other mate of Athena was Hephaestus, smith (aka fix-it man) of the Olympian gods.
Sound familiar? It should, and it's not even that subtle. So consider tonight's episode's name "Maelstrom", and read this Edgar Allan Poe tale.
Then consider the small statue Starbuck received from the fortune-teller and gave Adama for the prow of his ship... Aurora.
My literary Spidey-sense is tingling...Last edited by sdrotar; 03-05-2007, 06:56 AM.Shawn Drotar

That can't be the endgame for that story. I refuse to believe it. If it is then IMO, the show will be forever tainted.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Nope. It's not the last one... but it'll be a while until the next one starts.
