MMA fight Nick Diaz had failed his drug test and tested pos for weed. Just wondering if it was possible to fail a test from second hand smoke

He would have had to been in contact with the weed like 1-2 days before the test, because if it was just second hand smoke that amount of weed wouldn't be recognizable after a couple of days in your system...if it was just a isolated incident.

No. I used to administer drug tests for the county I lived in and it is impossible to test positive for marijuana from second-hand smoke. If I had a dollar for everyone who said their results were positive due to second-hand smoke I would buy everyone here a copy of Crackdown. Usually when I reminded them that they were on probation and even being in contact with someone else smoking was a major violation, they gave up on the second-hand excuse and admitted to "maybe taking a hit or two."

I think it's more an issue of drugs being illegal than whether or not it makes him a better fighter.

LOL!! That was a funny clip. Was she high or was the dude beating the guy high? I'd guess both. I think weed slows down your reaction time a bit which might get him knocked out quicker than usual.

I don't know about the topic, but I sure know you can get a buzz from second hand weed smoke. Some dude on the el was lightin' that up. I got dazed and giddy as hell.
